I didn’t immediately answer her; I was too busy kicking myself for leaving the door open again. Just leaving the door unlocked was enough of an invitation for Kendra to just walk right into your dorm and sift through all your personal things. I didn’t even bother to raise my head to look at her, let alone get up from my chair. After a few seconds to recompose myself and let her know I wasn’t interested in talking to her, I asked her if she really didn’t know who Holden Caulfield was.
“No” she responded, “Why?”
